Ab OCS Oil Company Scandinavia Ltd as a company is not very old but tracing its heritage back to early 1970. In 1979 Kb Erickson & Erickson Ky was founded by Bjorn Erickson who began importing and marketing American quality lubricants in Finland. Bjorn Erickson, who previously worked as lubricants salesman for Erikoisöljy the 1970s started his own family business after Erikoisöljy ended their business in the 1970s. Bjorn and his wife Sirpa Erickson imported the American brand Quaker State to Finland and for the first time opened up the market for high quality lubricants to be marketed in Finland. Quaker State was marketed in Scandinavia under a Swedish company called UNIQ Sweden and thus Erickson & Erickson could not directly import from the U.S. but received rights from UNIQ Sweden to market Quaker State in Finland.

Erickson & Erickson has experienced a lot of ups and downs over the years. The worst blow came when the company lost its rights to sell Quaker State lubricants in 1985. This resulted in the family business shattering. This setback did not discourage Bjorn and a new contract was made with a new lubricant supplier from the States. By then CONOCO inc. (Now Phillips 66) a contract was made to secure import- and marketing rights to Finland.

With the new import agreement, Ab OCS Oil Company Scandinavia Ltd was founded. Since then, Bjorn Erickson has retired but his wife Sirpa Erickson still is the company's chairman. CFO and shareholder Tommy Löfroth joined the company in 1986 to help with the development of the new company and is still today a very important part of today's businesses and operations.

Andre' Erickson succeeds Bjorn Erickson and is today its new driving force. Andre' responsibilities include business development / vision, IT, marketing, corporate branding and building new partnerships. Trough a very close cooperation with the United States and other partners we ensure product quality and availability, and sustainability and maintaining the company's confidence in its clients.
